You can worship silently in your heart and say nothing, but you can't praise silently.

What's Ruling Your Imagination

I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. -- Psalm 145: 1-2

How High Can You Go

Praise means to give adoration to boast, to speak up and out. When YOU praise YOU express superlatives with regard to something or someone. YOU are we are advertising, YOU are promoting the goodness and the greatness of this person or this thing that YOU adore and adorn with your expressions.

Praise is worship expressed. You can worship silently in your heart, but you can't praise silently, praise is the expression, of worship, praise is saying, I want you to know publicly how I feel privately.

So YOU must praise God. The Psalm is telling YOU that God wants to hear from YOU, so let's speak about Him, sing about Him, advertise about Him, brag about Him, walk with Him, talk with Him, when you praise you start to believe He's so good and relize He does so much YOU just can't keep it to yourself anymore! That's when you will start to elevate! Your praise affects Your attitude and Your attitude affects Your altitude.

*** Extol; means to hold high
