REPENTANCE IS A CHANGE OF MIND
This verse marks the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, He is urging YOU to have a change of heart and mind because the kingdom of heaven is close. Now, from this time forward is the beginning of your new walk in life, your new way of thinking and doing.
Jesus is calling YOU to have a real change of mind a transformation of consciousness. He is not calling YOU to a merely emotional remorse (feeling sorry) or cultural rule-following (doing right), Jesus wants YOU to have a radical shift in perspective. It is changing your entire orientation on how YOU see life, self, and God from God's perspective. From this time forward keep a heavenly perspective, and naturally your behavior will change.
