Many believe if they aren't the "starter," they don't matter. The Kingdom paradigm is different: Position does not equal value. Character is being "game-ready" at all times, even when you’re behind the scenes, trusting that the Coach knows exactly when your specific skills are needed.
The Shift: Your value is intrinsic, not based on your "minutes" or visibility.
The Verse: Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. (1Corinthians 12: 12-14)
